QA thin metal gauge came with my mower, what is it for?
A It is a thickness gauge to reset the gap between the cutting cylinder and the blades. The blades are set at an optimum setting when the mower leaves the factory. After a year or so, you may need to reset the blade gap if the mower cut is no longer clean. It’s a quick fix that is listed right in the Owners Manual.
QHow do I clean my Mantis Reel Mower?
A Clean the mower it with a moist cloth. Spray the cutting cylinder and lower blade with a low viscosity oil, such as a spray oil. Brush away any build-up of grass or leaves on the blades.
