My pump is running, but it will not spray. What is wrong?
Your pump may need to be force primed. Turn on the pump
and open the spray wand. Remove the tank lid and put a
household plunger in the tank over the hole in the bottom.
Pump the plunger a few times to force prime the pump.
This should remove any air locks that may be in the lines
or the pump.
Check the spray tip filter screen for any clogs and check
the valve in the pump; it may be clogged. Also, check
the screen inside the clear bowl on the bottom of the
sprayer. You can clean the check valve by removing the
pump head and washing the check valve in hot soapy water.
I pull the On switch and nothing happens. What is the problem?
The Flo-Jet pump on your SprayPartner is an intermittent
pump. It will build up pressure to 50 p.s.i. then turn
off. You may already have enough pressure in the pump
to spray. If it will not spray you may have a bad on/off
switch or a bad pressure switch. To test the on/off switch,
follow the red wire from the pump head to the switch,
disconnect the wire at the switch and touch it to the
positive battery terminal. If the motor runs the on/off
switch is bad. To test the pressure switch, remove the
small switch cover on the end of the pump (one screw)
and unplug the two red wires from the pump head and touch
them together. Turn on the sprayer. If the motor runs
the pressure switch is bad.
I've had my sprayer stored away; I got it out to use and the battery will not take a charge. Why?
If the battery is not charged for at least 8 hours every
30 days it will lose it´s charge and may not accept
a new charge. Try charging the battery for 16 hours, if
this does not work then the battery will need to be replaced.
My charger does not seem to be working. How do I test it?
Make sure your outlet is working. Plug your charger in the wall for a time period of around 20 minutes. If the transformer section gets warm to the touch then the charger is ok. If it is cold, then it is bad.
My sprayer's battery isn't holding a charge for as many tankfuls as I expected. What's wrong?
Your SprayPartner's pump will operate for 1 1/2 hours
between charges. The number of tanks this translates to
is an estimate made during product testing. The actual
number of tanks you can spray between charges will ultimately
depend on factors such as how the nozzle is being used,
the type of spray applications, use of the sprayboom etc.
