2-Cycle Tiller

The original Mantis Tiller model, it's also the only version that can operate all available attachments, including the rugged trimmer bars.

All 2-cycle engines operate on a gas and oil mix, so be prepared to blend the fuels. They can be noisier also, so consider the neighbors before early morning or evening gardening.

Starting usually takes 2-3 pulls on a recoil cord. Our 2-cycle commercial grade engine is one of the finest available.

4-Cycle Tiller

4-cycle equipment is becoming more popular in states with certain emission and noise regulations in effect.

They're quieter, easier to start and require no fuel mix. 4-cycle engines are more expensive to produce, and so they cost a little more.

Please note our trimmer bar attachments won't operate with this unit. Engine is made by Honda® which inspires confidence in many consumers.

Electric Tiller

Electric equipment is very easy to start and extremely quiet; so quiet you can garden virtually anytime with this unit.

You will require an extension cord, so allow for this when judging distance and maneuverability requirements.
